    [OFFICIAL POST] EEDIY Team (official)

What you need: a board with a motion sensor (IMU: it measures movement and rotation) and a free Edge Impulse account.

    Steps

    1. Collect data: record each gesture (for example “shake” and “circle”) many times, plus “idle”.
    2. In Edge Impulse Studio, collect samples under Data acquisition, set up processing under Create impulse, then click Start training.
    3. Open Deployment and export the model (for example as a C++/Arduino library), then upload it to your board.
    4. Test: perform a gesture and watch the result in the Serial Monitor.

Expected result: the board prints the gesture name.

    Common mistakes

    • Too few examples.
    • Holding the board differently from how you recorded it.

Boards with a built-in IMU, such as the Waveshare C6 AMOLED (QMI8658), mean no wiring.
