[OFFICIAL POST] EEDIY Team (official)
- ESP32: the decision-maker (logic), using low-voltage signals.
- Relay (module): a small switch the ESP32 can control through a driver, for low-voltage hobby loads.
In industrial panels, small control signals drive relays or interface modules, which in turn drive properly rated contactors for heavy loads. That panel work is done by qualified, licensed people under provincial rules (in Quebec, by a licensed electrical contractor). On EEDIY, our projects stay on the low-voltage side.
