    [OFFICIAL POST] EEDIY Team (official)

Espressif’s ESP-SR provides wake-word detection (WakeNet) and offline speech-command recognition (MultiNet). Per the ESP-SR README (checked Oct 2026), WakeNet lists ESP32, ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3, ESP32-S31, ESP32-P4, ESP32-C3, ESP32-C5 and ESP32-C6 as targets. Lighter models (WakeNet9s/10s) cover chips without SIMD. MultiNet (up to 300 Chinese or English commands) lists only ESP32-S3, ESP32-P4 and ESP32-S31. Check the README again before buying hardware, because support changes.

Beginner path: start with Espressif’s official wake-word example on a supported board. Change one thing at a time.
